![]() ![]() Select the new entry in your Library, right-click and go to "Properties". As it is now, Steam will only launch the Galaxy Client. There is now a new entry in your Steam library. There should now be a new entry for Galax圜lient in the popup, and the box next to it ticked. Navigate to the directory where you installed GOG Galaxy and select Galax圜lient.exe. In the Window that pops up, click on "Search". In the bottom left corner, click on "Add game." and select that you want to add a game not known to Steam. Copy everything after the second quote to your clipboard. This tells Galaxy which game you'd like to run. "\GOG Galaxy\Galax圜lient.exe" /command=runGame /gameId=123456789 /path="\GOG Galaxy\Games\thisisthegamedir"Īnd this is important. However, there is also more text behind the Galaxy Client. This is why GOG can track your achievements, because Galaxy is made aware that you're playing it. You'll notice that the destination of the shortcut doesn't point to the actual game, but to the GOG Galaxy Client. Now, Right-Click on the shortcut and select "Properties". Important: You need the SHORTCUT, not the. To do this, you first need to find a shortcut to your game. In this case, you need to access Steam from the Steam Link, and from there launch the game through GOG Galaxy. Things get a little more tricky though, when you (like me) would still like GOG to recognize the game as opened, track your ingame time, achievements etc. The usual solution to this is adding the game as a foreign game to your steam library. However, at times you'll want to run a game external to steam (like on GOG). The Steam Link obviously only supports Steam games by default.
